Oathkeeper

What it is

A fullered steel longsword with a dark wrapped grip, gilt quillons and green oath-stones in the guard and pommel. It hits like a diamond sword: 7 attack damage and 1.6 attacks per second. It is fire resistant, so lava won’t destroy it.

How to get it

There is no recipe. Oathkeeper rests in the stone of a Sleeping Blade landmark. Reach Form, have no bonded blade, empty your main hand, kneel by the stone and use it. Hold still for six seconds. The blade comes out already bonded to you.

How it fights

Its gifts work only while it is bonded to you and in your main hand:

When you… Oathkeeper…
Raise or hold Aura Guard Makes it cost 15% less aura
Land a perfect guard Builds 30% more momentum, with its own sound and a cut in the ground
Land ordinary hits Builds 20% less momentum

It adds no flat damage and does not widen the perfect-guard window. It rewards waiting and answering, not chasing.

Bulwark Maul

What it is

An iron-bound maul with a head of riven stone and glowing geodes. It is still the axe it was forged from, with the same damage, speed, enchantments and durability.

How to get it

Forge it at a smithing table: an Aura Shard (dropped by fallen knights), a diamond or netherite axe, and Geode Grit (a reagent from riven stone and geode crawlers).

How it fights

While it is in your main hand, your Aura Guard (sneak and press the Aura key, Z by default) costs 40% less aura, raised and held. Like any axe it can also break a raised guard.

Skyrend Glaive

What it is

A storm-lacquered glaive with a crescent blade and a lightning-lit edge. It is still the spear it was forged from, with the same attacks, enchantments and durability.

How to get it

Forge it at a smithing table: an Aura Shard, a diamond or netherite spear, and a Fulgurite Shard (the storm reagent).

How it fights

While it is in your main hand, your Aura Slash (tap the Aura key, from Edge) hits 60% harder, flies 30% further and wider, and cuts two more foes. Against players the extra damage is held to the same cap as other aura bonuses.

Tips

  • All three can be bonded. Oathkeeper comes bonded; the maul and glaive bond at a ley crossing like any axe or spear.
  • A forging keeps everything the weapon had. Enchant and repair it as normal. The tooltip shows the gift and the base weapon.
  • Pick by how you fight. The maul suits players who guard a lot. The glaive suits players who open with slashes. Oathkeeper suits players who wait for the perfect guard.
  • A server can tune or switch off the maul and glaive gifts (aura_world settings forged_gear, skyrend_slash, bulwark_guard_cost). The weapons stay either way. The numbers above are the defaults.
  • The third forging, the Lumenedge sword, is on the Aura page.
